What is Micro Fiber?
Percale fabric begins its life as two sets of un dyed, interwoven threads, known as a "greycloth" that will later have its color and pattern "sprayed" on. Since the threads are woven at a 1:1 ratio, the same number of threads will be found along one inch of the length, and one inch of the width. The number of threads along one inch (in each direction) makes up the fabric's "thread count." Micro fiber is simply a much thinner thread. This is how they get 1200 threads per square inch. The result is a very soft and silky feel with great durability.
What happens if I don't like them?
We're confident you'll love them! However, if for any reason you don't, simply call us for a Return Authorization Number within 30 days of receiving them. We'll be happy to take them back provided they are unwashed, unused, and in there original packaging. We'll go a step further and waive any restocking fees. Any shipping charges are not refundable.

What is Percale?
Percale fabric begins its life as two sets of undyed, interwoven threads, known as a "greycloth" that will later have its color and pattern "sprayed" on. Since the threads are woven at a 1:1 ratio, the same number of threads will be found along one inch of the length, and one inch of the width. The number of threads along one inch (in each direction) makes up the fabric's "thread count."
The thread count of the fabric determines its density, and that generally gives you a good gauge of its softness, although there are other factors that impact the softness of the fabric even more than its thread count. One such factor is "content."
The content of percale can vary widely. Though many people assume that "percale" means a polyester-cotton blend, this is untrue. A percale can be made of 100% cotton, 100% polyester, or any combination in between. Even a high thread count 60/40 percale blend won't be as soft or luxuriant as a lower thread count 100% cotton. Also, a dark colored cotton percale will feel stiffer than a lighter colored percale with the same thread count.
Even within cotton itself, there are many differences in grade. Just as grapes grown in certain regions are favored by wine connoisseurs over grapes grown in others, the quality of cotton can be estimated by its origin. Our own domestic cotton is an excellent breed called "pima" cotton. This is a long-staple cotton, and is relatively inexpensive, considering its high quality. The fertile Nile valley which also produces the same breed of Pima Cotton as the United States, calls their more luxuriant textile "Egyptian Cotton." With its longer, silkier, and thicker fibers, this cotton is woven into the absolute best percales. Unfortunately, since it must be imported from Egypt, it carries with it a heavy price tag.
At the other end of the spectrum, some imported percales are very inexpensive, and for good reasons. A combination of low thread count and high ratios of polyester to cotton causes these percales to rip easily, feel rough to the touch, and worst of all, pill. Pilling is that sand-paper feel that sheets can get after washing. If you find your sheets doing this, and are bothered by it, consider upgrading to a higher thread count, and better content. Though this may mean more expense, you really do get what you pay for.
100% Cotton Percales, on the other hand, are more difficult to maintain. They should be washed in cold water, and line or tumble dried. They do tend to wrinkle, and can be expected to shrink 1-2% the first time they are washed. This shrinkage is taken into account when the sheets are manufactured. For this reason, they may fit loosely before laundering, and provide a snug fit afterwards.
Percale fabrics are generally available in widths great enough to provide a sleeping surface without any add-ons or seams. Extremely large or thick mattresses may make add-ons necessary.

Awesome Sheets
I'm so impressed with the quality of these sheets. They are thinner than normal sheets but they wash up very nicely. They are very soft and fit my waterbed.
Great Sheets
We ordered a second set after recieving our first order. The sheets fit or Cal King Water Bed to a tee. They are well worth the fourty bucks!!! Don't tell waterbed land but customers would be happy with these sheets at a seventy dollar price point!!!
Pleasure
Always a pleasure to deal with your company including today when I spoke with a member of your staff who helped me with my order. Tx.
I LOVE THESE SHEETS!
These are the best sheets ever. It has become so difficult to find quality waterbed sheets in the last few years. I only wish you carried them in super single, so my kids would stop complaining. They are want these sheets too!
Gorgeous sheets at a great price
At first I thought I was seeing things when I read the e-mail with the price of these sheets, and was skeptical at first. The sheets arrived today in burgundy and goldenrod, in queen size. Wow! Silky smooth sheets, not at all stiff like occurs sometimes in deep colors, and washed and fit beautifully. I will order more again soon. Don't pass these by!
Just Like Silk
I was surprised at the quality of the sheets. Because of the high 1200 thread count they feel like silk - honestly! And, this is even after they have been washed. The only negative may be is that they are very big. The king-size sheets are larger than the comforter.
Silky Soft - but thin
These sheets are indeed silky soft and really nice to sleep on - but the fabric is so thin you literally can see thru it! There also is no wide hem on the top - all sides have just a rolled 3/8" hem. They are nice for the warm summer nights. They have washed well, but because of the thin fabric, I wonder how long they will last.
Impressed with the quality
Thank you for the wonderful sheet set, we are ordering a second set. We are very happy with the fabric, they fit our waterbed perfectly. We have had nothing but success with your website, and appreciate the emails re: current specials. We have had difficulty in the past in locating places that carry waterbed products and accessories. So happy that we were connected with you.
Best! (check note on fit for water-bed)
These are the most luxurious sheets on the planet! I bought two sets for a queen wood-sided water-bed...they were a little small(take note here) so I put them on my pillow-top queen regular mattress bed and oh my goodness they are so yummy! I look forward to going to bed and being surrounded in the softest sheets I have ever slept on!
1200 TC Egyptian Cotton Sheet Set
Very smooth, very comfortable. Almost as smooth as satin. In that aspect great.
My only complaint is that these are not actually waterbed sheets. The bottom sheet is a normal king size fitted sheet which makes it a little more difficult to put on a waterbed mattress. The upper sheet is also made for a normal king size mattress which means you have extra cloth hanging over the sides and end.
However, they are a great price and a little work with a sewing machine easily fixes the above gripes.
